Class of 1973
Mr. Timothy P. O'Brien

Mr. Tim O’Brien was recognized as St. Hugh of Grenoble Catholic School Distinguished Graduate in 2007. Tim graduated from St. Hugh’s School in 1973. He went on to DeMatha Catholic High School and then to Frostburg State University where he majored in accounting. Tim earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore and is currently an attorney for Joseph, Greenwald, and Laake law firm in Greenbelt.

Tim is an active member of the St. Pius X (Bowie) Catholic Youth Organization for the past 11 years which included time as president, baseball commissioner, and coach. He is a past chairman of the Board of Advisors at DeMatha. Tim and his wife, Sue, are parishioners at St. Pius X Catholic Church and have raised three children in Catholic schools. In Tim’s words, “I believe that a primary and secondary Catholic education provides a strong foundation for academic and spiritual growth.”
